2017 Annual Waste Conference Hosted by the Air & Waste Management Association Lake Michigan States Section

A&WMA-LMSS’s conference is designed for professionals in any organization that manages waste or has waste concerns. The day will focus on:

• Discussion with USEPA, Region 5 and State waste regulators;
• Analysis of new or often misunderstood regulations;
• Success stories and cautionary tales; and
• Innovative, proven solutions for waste management;

Leading representatives from the industry and those that support industry will provide information and insights on a wide range of waste topics.

Freeborn's Ann Zwick will moderate the panel entitled, "Waste Surprises and Lessons Learned." Freeborn's Phil Comella will discuss the challenges and lessons learned in managing three different waste streams: TENORM (technologically enhanced naturally occurring radioactive materials), coal ash and electronic waste.
